The Reviews Are In....

“When Larry Foreman (Josh Powell) finally comes onto the scene he gets a big song; it’s bombastic and rousing and has all the elements of a perfect rallying cry to unionize, moments after the last huge note belted by Mr. Powell is still hanging from the rafters. Mr. Powell has great charisma and all the elements of a true star; it’s obvious from his performance that he’s a real talent, but the role of Larry Foreman just doesn’t have songs that match his enormous ability.”
- Karen Tortora-Lee (The Happiest Medium)

“Stand-outs include Josh Powell, a kinetic performer and great singer, who brings the agitator Larry Foreman to life.”
- S.D. Trav (Travalanche)

“Powell's Foreman is a charismatic rabble-rouser, especially when he leads the company in a fiery chorus of the title anthem.”
- Michael Dale (Broadway World)

“A cast of 19 has been assembled to portray the story's many characters; they are a fine and forceful ensemble, with particularly memorable work delivered by the two antagonists Josh Powell (as Foreman) and Bill Newhall (as Mr. Mister).”
- Martin Denton (New York Theatre)

“The second act adds themes of unionization, to say nothing of the heroic Larry Foreman (Josh Powell), who at last appears with a rebel attitude and Elvis Presley croon.”
- Amanda Halkiotis (New Theatre Corps)
